My Portuguese passport

In September I received my Portuguese citizenship. Due to the waiting list in The Portuguese consulate in Tel Aviv, it was apparent that getting the passport in Lisbon would be easier.

Last week I got my passport in Lisbon. Here it is!

For those who can’t wait for their local consulate, I recommend a service of assistance in getting things done in Lisbon. It takes 3 days. Email me for details at for more information

My Portuguese citizenship

Do you have a client that actually got the Portuguese citizenship as a Sephardi Jew? There is Attorney–client privilege, and I can not reveal client’s documents without his consent. Well now I don’t have this concern 🙂 Please see the positive response to my citizenship application. The application was submitted 18 November 2015, The application was approved 29 September 2016. It took 10 months. Expect to see my smiling face with the passport soon. There is a real window of opportunity for Sephardi Jews to obtain an EU passport. See below the Portuguese original and an English translation made in my offices.
